How to Install Vertical Blinds
Mounting fasteners should be selected to suit mounting surface:
OUTSIDE/WALL MOUNT (WITHOUT VALANCE)
- For standard and deluxe track (aluminum), mount "L"
brackets not more than 3" from each end of track and not
more than 30" apart over remaining length.
- Adjust mounting clips to allow 1/2" clearance between
louver and wall. Example - 2 1/4" for 3 1/2" louvers.
- Track should be centered under mounting clips, insert track
into short end of mounting clip and snap into place with rolling
motion toward rear.

OUTSIDE/WALL MOUNT (WITH VALANCE)
- Snap on valance hangers next to each "L" bracket.
- Center valance on track and slide all the way into hanger.
INSIDE/CEILING MOUNT (WITH VALANCE)
- Valance must be drilled and positioned between mounting clips
and ceiling.
- The top inside surface of the valance is scored with three
parallel lines. On most installations, the center line should
be aligned with the screw-hole line, hold in place, drill through
valance and into ceiling.
- Insert appropriate screw through the mounting clip tightening
valance against ceiling. (Insert track in place as described.)
INSIDE/CEILING MOUNT (WITHOUT VALANCE)
- Measure depth to allow _" clearance between louver and
window. Example - 2" for 31/2" louvers.
- Attach mounting clips to ceiling not more than 3" from
each end of aluminum track and not more than 30" apart
over remainder of track.
- Track should be centered under mounting clips, insert track
into short end of mounting clip and
VALANCE ASSEMBLY CLOSED CORNER
- Cut fabric insert 1" longer than valance at each end.
- Position fabric and wrap excess around ends.
- Hold fabric into place with closed corner.
- Cut fabric flush with end of return groover.
- Repeat on returns, taping or stapling loose (wall) end of
return.

OPEN CORNER
- Cut fabric long enough to wrap around open corner and cover
the entire valance return plus at least 1" excess.
- Position open corner and valance returns.
- Position fabric, wrap over open corner and return.
- Trim excess fabric at wall end of valance return and secure
with tape or staples.

ATTACHING LOUVERS
- Turn louver hooks perpendicular to window or wall.
- Push each louver into hook until it snaps into place.
- NOTE: With grooved louvers and fabric, make sure the louver
is inserted against the longer prong. This will prevent the
mounting hook from snagging fabric.
REMOVING LOUVERS
- Gently open louver hook with finger and remove louver
as shown.
